St Patrick’s Community Support Centre

For more than  45 years, St Patrick’s Community Support Centre has supported those experiencing homelessness, or at risk of experiencing homelessness, in the Fremantle and south west metropolitan area.

The Centre’s work is only possible through the generosity of its more than 150 volunteers. Click here to learn more.

Hospital Chaplaincy

The Pastoral Care of Fremantle Hospital is part of the Mission of the Fremantle Catholic Parish. Father Anthony Colbert OMI is the Catholic Chaplain to the hospital. Other Priests of the Oblate Community assist as required.

Notre Dame Chaplaincy

The Catholic Chaplain of Notre Dame University is always a member of the Fremantle Oblates Community. Fr Subash Fernando OMI is the current Chaplain.


Prison Chaplaincy

Father David Shelton OMI of the Fremantle Oblate Community is a full time chaplain to the state’s prisons.

Stella Maris Seafarer’s Centre

The Centre was opened in 1947 as the Seaman’s Institute. It cares, both aboard ships and at the Centre, for the spiritual and material welfare of seafarers of any denomination during their visit to Fremantle or Kwinana ports.
